DSM Core Chiropractic + Pain Therapy is Iowa's only hospital-based chiropractic clinic, located in downtown Des Moines inside the MercyOne Des Moines Health Plaza. In addition to treating patients at our clinic, Dr. Meyer also provides chiropractic care at the MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center.
We proudly serve patients throughout Central Iowa, including Des Moines, West Des Moines, Ankeny, Johnston, Grimes, Bondurant, Waukee, Clive, Norwalk, and nearby communities.
Collaborative Care
DSM Core is a chiropractic and physical rehabilitation pain center that provides personalized manual therapy in conjunction with patients' traditional medical care to drive long-lasting pain relief. Our doctors may utilize deep-tissue therapies, chiropractic adjustments, x-ray and MRI technologies, and a network of medical providers to develop a patient centered treatment plan.

Our Chiropractic treatment methods focus on patient centered, one-on-one therapy. DSM Core Chiropractic + Pain Therapy utilizes several non-invasive treatment methods such as spinal manipulation, joint manipulation, deep-tissue myofascial release, exercise guidance, and nutritional consultation to diagnose and alleviate pain. Common conditions treated include Neck Pain, Low Back Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica, Whiplash and many more.

The staff at DSM Core Chiropractic + Pain Therapy work with many insurance companies including Aetna, BlueCross & Blue Shield HMO and PPO, Cigna, Coventry, Health Partners, Humana, Medicaid (State of Iowa), Medica, Medicare, UnitedHealthcare, and All Major insurance carriers for motor vehicle accidents. Our office is also able to accept payment from HSA and FSA accounts to make Chiropractic care an accessible treatment option.
